Starry Sunday Success!

Thankyou to all the fabulous people who took part in Bardwell O'Neill's 'Come! Young and Old! Free Workshop!' this past Sunday in Swindon's Central Library.

We were impressed by your ideas, inspired by your enthusiasm, and amazed at the number of biscuits you can eat in a short break!

Inspired by New York poet Kenneth Koch and Bardwell O'Neill's new 'Hunter' poem, the poets went hunting through the library to find 'treasure' - objects and words of interest - then used their treasure to create poems and pictures. Some worked from a template. Some did their own sweet thing. All proudly shared their work.

We have now placed all of the mazin poems and art-work produced at the workshop here, or click on the icon at the side. Also see pictures from the Festival in our gallery.

Thanks to Hilda Sheehan, Matt Holland, Michael Scott and the Festival crew, and all the ever-helpful people at Central Library, Swindon.
